Join textile designer and experienced tutor Lichen Davenport for a fun and inspiring one day workshop dedicated to the art of creative stitching. Perfect for all skill levels, this hands-on class will guide you through the basics of embroidery while allowing you to explore your own unique style.

 In this relaxed and experimental and creative day, you will learn a variety of embroidery stitching techniques as well have having a go at free-hand machine embroidery if you wish. You will explore colour and texture while develop shapes using a wide variety of fabrics, threads, beads and trimmings while learning different embroidery stiches as you go.

All materials will be provided, including an embroidery hoop and hanging ribbon to create a stunning wall hanging which you can take home to display at the end of the day.
