Paper Mache Clay Mask Workshop

We are delighted to join forces with artist Jim Pilston for this fantastic folkloric paper mache mask workshop. This is another brand new workshop for us and we are really excited! Jim has been working in the arts for many years after initially studying prop and costume making. He has worked as a theatre practitioner, a community artist and an illustrator. His work as a folkartist  is popular with collectors and  he is currently artist in residence at Prema Arts in Uley.

In this one day workshop you will learn how to make paper mache clay, how to design, build, mix and  apply the clay and how to decorate and finish fantastic folklore inspired masks.  There will also be a chance to make smaller Christmas decorations as part of this workshop.
